Rainfall totals that ranged between 3-5 inches caused flooding for many area counties on Friday. The National Weather Service issued Thunderstorm Warnings, Flash Flood and Flood Warnings throughout the day and evening on Friday.

While several area state routes in Ross, Fayette, Pickaway and Adams counties were closed at times, there were no reports of mass evacuations despite communities such as Good Hope and Frankfort reporting high water.

Heavy rains "trained" through central and south central Ohio until diminishing late Friday night.

More chances of thunderstorms are forecast for the weekend.
