Official tallies from our iHeart Media Chillicothe Blood Bash shows a successful blood drive on Friday.
Red Cross Blood Services officials say they counted 212 donors from Friday's 12-hour event in Chillicothe, surpassing the goal of 185.
A slow start saw a turn-around with walk-ins coming to the rescue during the afternoon, to help us get over the top on our goal.
Total presenting donors: 206
Whole blood units collected: 160
Power Red units collected: 52
Donors deferred: 15
First Time Donors: 46
Donors who started donation process but did not complete: 5
Total productive units: 212 (goal was 185)
Total lives saved: 636
