Columbus Suspects Indicted In WV Drug Sting

(Wheeling, OH)  --  Officials in West Virginia say eight members of a Columbus street gang have been indicted for a multi-state drug operation.  

 

The eight suspects are connected to a gang called the Elaine Crip Family, and are accused of trafficking methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin in West Virginia. 


The U.S. Attorney's Office says the drugs were brought to West Virginia from Columbus.  

 

A federal grand jury also indicted 23 West Virginians in the sting.
