Circleville's City Safety Committee will meet on Tuesday, June 26th, to discuss the topic of semi "Engine Braking" within the city. That's when diesel rigs release compressed air trapped in the cylinders to slow the vehicle.
Engine braking, also known as "Jake Braking" is prohibited in most areas due to the loud noise it creates.
Tuesday's meeting will begin at 7pm in the community room of the city fire station.
