A Circleville man was injured after his Ford Taurus was hit by a train, Friday.
Police say a northbound Norfolk Southern train collided with a vehicle at the West High Street crossing early Friday morning.
Witnesses told police that the vehicle was driven onto the tracks and stopped as the train approached. Witness statements have not yet been confirmed.
After the crash, the driver reportedly got out of the vehicle and fled the scene. He was found several hours later on North Scioto Street, and was taken to Berger Hospital with multiple injuries.
