Authorities in Chillicothe were called to a single-vehicle accident scene on East Main Street, Friday.
The incident took place around 1:30 p.m. Friday as a pickup truck turned east off of Warner Avenue on to East Main St.
Witnesses say the truck gunned its engine out of the turn, veered out of its lane, and jumped the curb on the left side of the roadway where it collided with the corner of a home located 985 East Main.
The collision caused serious damage to the home and it has been deemed unsafe. Witnesses say the unidentified driver was taken to Adena with a minor injury.
