The Jackson County Times Journal Newspaper has closed it's doors, making the surprise announcement to staff yesterday on the day the paper closed.
The owner of the Times Journal also owns newspapers in Waverly, Circleville, McArthur and Logan. Those papers remain open.
This now leaves Jackson with only the twice weekly published The Telegram.
