Firefighters from Chillicothe were called to the scene of a major house fire, Thursday.
The structure at 47 Fruit Hill Drive caught fire shortly before 1:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon and was nearly fully engulfed.
Fruit Hill Drive is located on the west side of Chillicothe, near Adena Mansion & Gardens.
No one was home at the time the fire started. Two family pets died as a result.
