The Circleville Post 134 Panthers are still sailing through the American Legion State Baseball Tournament unbeaten, finishing the winners bracket Friday with a (3-0) record. The Panthers hammered host and previously unbeaten Lancaster Post 11 by an 11-1 score in 5 innings.
They followed that up with an 8-5 win over Jefferson County Saturday morning, to advance to the state championship against Beverly at 7pm. They eliminated Lancaster 6-2.
Should the Panthers lose the 7pm Saturday game, they would then play a winner-take-all 1pm game on Sunday.
