A Washington Court House man was recently indicted on drug charges. According to the officials with the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, Anthony Adkins, 40, was identified as a suspect into alleged drug trafficking at a Jasper Township home. Authorities say on June 29th they tried to conduct a traffic stop Adkins along I-71, but he led them on a chase in which he allegedly threw presumed cocaine out of his vehicle before the pursuit ended on Gallimore Road.
A search of Adkins's Allen Road home reportedly uncovered a stolen ATV and a large quantity of presumed meth, cocaine, crack cocaine, and marijuana.
Adkins was recently indicted by a Fayette County Grand Jury on multiple charges of trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine, and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and remains incarcerated under a $100,000 bond.
