The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is opening-up special archery hunts at nine locations soon. Local lottery drawings for Ohio hunters to secure a license to bow-hunt will be held next month.
The state says hunters must attend meetings if they're interested in participating, and buy a five-dollar ticket to enter a drawing. The Department of Natural Resources- Division of Wildlife, says names will be drawn randomly.
Also, the hunters selected will be allowed to choose a certain time to hunt, over a two-week period at a specified site.
