Southeastern Rolls Past Eastern Pike

The Southeastern Panthers had two running backs go over the "century mark" in rushing Friday night in a 41-6 win over Eastern Pike. Mikey Nusser carried the ball 15 times for 112 yards and scored four TD's, while quarterback Lane Ruby ran for 104 yards on 9 carries. Ruby also picked-off an Eagles pass.

The Panthers compiled 274 total yards- all on the ground. Eastern had 206 total yards with 144 rushing.

Four Eastern turnovers were a big factor, with Southeastern stopping three substantial Eastern drives. One of those turnovers was Southeastern defensive lineman Andrew Moore's pick-six from 47 yards out.

The Panthers improve to (2-1) while Eastern drops to (0-3).
