An annual competition has opened at the Pump House Center for the Arts.
Ardis McCain is the president of the board, and the art gallery was packed when she helped host the opening of "The Hills" Thursday evening.
She said they hung 188 works, which was a lot. The gallery was packed with artists and their families and friends.
"The Hills" draws from all of South Central Ohio, any artist age 16 and up in 75-mile radius from Chillicothe. Again, the Kingston National Bank was the sponsor.
The annual show runs through the end of the month.
The Pump House is open Wednesday through Saturday 11 to 4, and Sunday 12 to 4...aside from rentals.
