The Unioto Shermans squeaked by Westfall by one stroke Thursday to take the SVC Golf Match at Valley Vista. The Shermans shot a 164 behind Ty Schobelock's 34 to beat runner-up Westfall by one stroke.
With five conference matches now in the books, the Shermans have compiled 39 points and lead the Mustangs by four points with three more rounds of nine holes to play.
