The brick section of West Second Street in Chillicothe will be returning to being paved with asphalt, according to Mayor Luke Feeney.
Feeney says the logic is that with the street paving levy that was approved a few years ago, there was no consideration for the expense of maintaining a brick-laid street, only asphalt. He says if city council wants to amend that language, they can pursue that.
In a matter concerning East Second Street, the city council will be considering an administration report that takes in all angles of whether to make that street two-way or leave it as one-way.
