Southeastern Claims SVC Volleyball Share

For the first time since 1989, the Southeastern Panthers have won an SVC volleyball championship. The Panthers clinched no worse than a share of the title with a 25-6, 25-11, 25-13 win against Piketon in their final regular season home match. 


Southeastern will need a win at Unioto on Thursday to claim an undisputed championship, as a Shermans victory will give them a a share of the crown. Unioto was a 25-27, 25-15, 25-8, 25-8 winner over Paint Valley Tuesday.


Thursday's SVC title bout will be broadcast on 94 Country WKKJ and iHeart Radio, with airtime shortly after 6pm.


In other SVC action, Zane Trace swept the Warriors at Adena 25-18, 25-18, 25-23. 


Huntington outlasted Westfall  23-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-15.
