Time Change Also Brings More Traffic Accidents

The time change at 2am November 4th will have you turning your clocks back one hour. Matt Bruning of the Ohio Department of Transportation says numbers back up what many people already know- that the time change throws people off.

Studies show there is a measurable increase in pedestrian-related crashes.

Bruning reminds us to give cyclists three feet of clearance while passing them. As for people needing to walk up the road without a sidewalk, face oncoming traffic and, at night, wear bright clothing.
