One of Ohio's U.S. Senators is coming to Chillicothe today.
Senator Rob Portman will be joined by the deputy director of the National Parks Service to tour the Hopewell Culture National Historical Park. They'll see firsthand maintenance needs of $2.1 million at the site.
Portman is backing a larger package, the Restore Our Parks Act, designed to help clear-out a 12-billion-dollar backlog in parks service projects.
