Reported house fires typically increase in the during the months of December and January and the Red Cross helps to reduce the risk by installing free smoke alarms.

Logan Elm Village residents will see Red Cross volunteers fan out through the community this Wednesday, November 7th offering residents help in installing or replacing their smoke alarms free of charge. They'll begin at 10:00 a.m.
