Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee has passed away at the age of 95.
Lee passed away Monday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, after being rushed to the hospital for a medical emergency.
Lee was responsible for the creation of several beloved comic characters during his time with Marvel, including many members of the Avengers, X-Men, and The Fantastic 4... just to name a few.
Lee in the past had expressed an attachment to the Chillicothe area, having been stranded here during his service in the U.S. Army. He has since used the small town as a location in a few of stories. You can hear Stan talk about his Chillicothe stay HERE.
Lee was known to pop up frequently in cameos in the currently Marvel Cinematic Universe.
