Rhoden Murder Suspect Set for Tuesday Arraignment in Pike County

One of the Wagner family members accused in the Rhoden family murders will make a court appearance on Tuesday. 


Edward "Jake" Wagner, 26, is set for arraignment at 9:00 a.m. on eight charges of Aggravated Murder in Pike County Common Pleas Court. He also faces a lone count of Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor for carrying out a physical relationship with one of the murder victims, Hannah Rhoden, while she was just 15 and he was 20.


Two other family members, Rita Newcomb, 65, and Fredericka Wagner, 76, who are accused of working to cover up the murders, appeared in court last week and were released after posting bond. 


Jake Wagner's brother, George Wagner IV, 27, is set for arraignment this Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. The boys' mother, Angela Wagner, 48, will appear in court this Thursday afternoon. Her husband, Billy Wagner, 47, will be arraigned on Tuesday, December 4th.
