Veterans are being encouraged to use better eating habits and get more exercise in order to prevent many health problems.
Geri Eichenlaub, a registered dietitian and coordinator of the Move Weight Management Program, says we all should plan better eating habits during the holidays. She says there are ways to fill-in gaps between meals to assist in keeping weight off, such as with a healthy snack.
She says a new group meets at 11am each Thursday, specifically for military veterans that are overweight and diabetes.
