Kenworth is among 12 commercial projects in the state to receive assistance through the Ohio Tax Credit Authority. PACCAR Inc. expects to create 100 full-time positions as part of its expansion project in Ross County's Green Township.
The TCA has approved a 1.013-percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for the project. Kenworth manufactures both heavy and medium duty trucks.
The expansion is expected to generate $6.6-million in new annual payroll and retain a little more than $155-million in existing payroll.
