Pike Jail Escape Short-Lived

(24/7 News)  --  The Pike County Sheriff recaptured a woman who briefly escaped custody.

According to reports, 34-year-old Autumn Satterfield was being booked into the Pike County jail on Tuesday afternoon when she was able to slip away from deputies.  Authorities relocated her a short time later still wearing a jail-issued yellow jumpsuit and sitting in a hot tub at the Bristol Village Activity Center.

Satterfield was originally being charged with possession of heroin but now will be facing an additional charge of felony escape.
