Big changes are being seen if you drive past the Pickaway County Fairgrounds in Circleville. Renovation work has been happening since the fair ended last June and several new buildings are expected to be in place by the time the 2019 Pickaway Fair rolls around.
Commissioner Brian Stewart says more than $2 million in private donations have already been given for the project, which is now in Phase One, and more donations are being sought. These funds are being joined with county money that will be spent to do the work.
Stewart says its the biggest renovation work at the fairgrounds since its construction in 1945.
