(Columbus, OH) -- According to recently released records, more than 4,500 patient recommendations are with the state after being submitted for the medical marijuana registry.
The State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy announced earlier this week that more than 3,000 on the registry had already activated their registration e-cards.
The registry is an online portal where doctors can recommend the use of medical marijuana for patients and caregivers.
Once confirmed and approved by the state, an e-card is issued, which will allow legal access to dispensaries which are set to open early next year.
