The Ross County Commissioners have accepted the resignations of two acting elected officials.
Long-time Ross County Coroner, Dr. John Gabis, is leaving the post after 26 years. Gabis is recommending that Dr. Benjamin Trotter fill his unexpired term.
The Commissioners also say Ross County Prosecutor, Matt Schmidt, is recommending Deputy Prosecutor, Jeff Marks, to be appointed to his post, as Schmidt will be sworn in as Ross County Common Pleas Judge.
