A Chillicothe man has been indicted by the Highland County Grand Jury following an alleged break-in and theft from the Highland County Fairgrounds.
The Highland County Press reports Shane C. Johnston, of Chillicothe, faces felony charges charges of breaking and entering, grand theft of a vehicle, and theft. He faces an additional charge of aggravated possession of methamphetamine for a separate incident, two day later on November 14th.
Johnston is accused of entering the fairgrounds illegally on November 12th and stealing a pick-up truck owned by the county agricultural society. He is also alleged to have stolen various tools and food items that belonged to the Ag society and a catering company. The items were valued between $1,000 and $7,500.
