The Ross County Humane Society will be hosting the first board meeting of the year at 5:30pm, January 23rd at the Petland Corporate Headquarters. Petland Corporate Headquarters is located at 250 Riverside Street, Chillicothe. The meeting will be held in the training center which is accessed by the Hickory Street side entrance.
The public is welcome to attend any monthly board meeting of the Humane Society, but the first meeting of the year gives the public the chance to meet the board members, director, and often staff of the shelter as well as to learn about what the shelter accomplished overall in 2018 and hopes to accomplish in 2019 and beyond.
Volunteers are also often recognized at this meeting as the shelter could not accomplish their mission without the help of volunteers and the public.
