Two people were killed in a three vehicle crash on U.S. Route 22 in Fairfield County, Wednesday night.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that 72-year-old John T. Doe of Lancaster, was traveling eastbound when he went left-of-center and side-swiped a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Estellia Sheridan of Stoutsville. Doe’s vehicle continued westbound and struck Scott Spires’ vehicle head on.

Sheridan’s vehicle traveled off of the roadway and struck a guardrail. Estellia Sheridan, Scott Spires and a juvenile passenger in Spires’ vehicle were all transported to Fairfield Medical Center for injuries.

Doe was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash and his passenger, 73-year-old Maryland Doe, was transported to Fairfield Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries.
