(Chillicothe) -- Customers of Horizon Chillicothe Telephone soon will be receiving their official 2019 telephone directory highlighting a gorgeous morning on Lake Caldwell in Ross County’s Scioto Trails State Park
For 48 years, Horizon has utilized the cover of its directory to highlight area artist’s photographs and artwork. This year, Cathy Zangri captured a beautiful photograph in Scioto Trails as the fog lifted off Lake Caldwell and the sun rose in the sky on a crisp autumn morning.
Nestled within the beautiful 9,000-acre Scioto Trail State Forest in Ross County, Scioto Trail State Park’s 218-acres are a wooded refuge just south of Chillicothe. The ridgetops and winding forest roads offer breathtaking vistas of southern Ohio’s Scioto River Valley. The beauty and remoteness of Scioto Trail offers the best of escapes to its visitors.
Nearly 30,000 phone books will be distributed to Horizon customers in Ross, Pickaway, Pike, Vinton, Jackson and Hocking counties. Again, this year, the U.S. Postal Service will handle deliveries.
Horizon customers that use a post office box will find a notice in their box. These notices should be taken to their post office window to receive their directory. Customers who have not received a directory by early April should contact Horizon’s business office at 740-772-8331.
