The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is reported a fatal motorcycle crash.

The office says Michael D. Haller, 63, of Dayton, was killed at the scene after his 2016 Honda crashed on Palmer Road, east of the Harmony Road intersection, Wednesday.

Haller had been eastbound along Palmer when after crossing a culvert, his bike veered left of center and traveled off the roadway. He was then thrown from the bike after colliding with a utility pole.

The crash remains under investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Crash Reconstruction Response Team.
