Highland County Engineer to Step Down, Accepts New Position with ODOT

Highland County's Engineer is stepping down to take on a new job. Dean Otworth will be leaving his post as county engineer to pursue a new position within the Ohio Department of Transportation.

According to the Highland County Press, Otworth made that announcement to the Highland County Board of Commissioners during Wednesday's Commission meeting. Otworth's resignation will take effect on April 30th.

The paper reports that Otworth will take on the role of Deputy Director of Operations at ODOT's central office. He is recommending Deputy Engineer Chris Fauber as his successor.
