The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle crash that occurred on Howard Road near Denver Road in Pike County at approximately 7:56am, Wednesday.

A Dodge Grand Caravan driven by 63-year-old Tina Hannah of Waverly, was traveling southbound on Howard Road. A Honda Odyssey driven by 39-year-old Alicia Gecowets of Waverly, was traveling northbound on Howard Road. Mrs. Gecowets traveled to the left of the center-line and struck Mrs. Hannah head on.

Mrs. Hannah and her juvenile passenger were transported to Adena Pike Medical Center by Pike County EMS with non-life threatening injuries. Mrs. Gecowets was flown to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus by MedFlight with serious injuries.
