Menards Inc. to Create 150 Positions in Fayette's Jefferson Township

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted have announced the approval of assistance for four projects, one in Fayette County, set to create 380 new jobs and retain 455 jobs statewide.

During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) reviewed economic development proposals brought to the board by JobsOhio and its regional partners. Collectively, the projects are expected to result in more than $23 million in new payroll and spur more than $91 million in investments across Ohio.

Menards Inc. expects to create 150 full-time positions, generating $5.7 million in new annual payroll as a result of the company’s new project in Jefferson Township in Fayette County. Menards is a home improvement retail store chain with stores across the Midwest. The TCA approved a 1.532-percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for the project.

Traction on Demand expects to create 80 full-time positions, generating $6.4 million in new annual payroll and retaining $333,204 in existing payroll as a result of the company’s new project in the City of Dayton. Traction on Demand is a salesforce consulting firm that develops cloud technology solutions. The TCA approved a 1.694-percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

AssureCare LLC. expects to create 100 full-time positions, generating $10 million in new annual payroll and retaining $7.4 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s new project in the City of Cincinnati. AssureCare provides health management software for health care and human services organizations, health care payers and providers, and organizations engaged in government-sponsored health care programs. The TCA approved a 2.225-percent, nine-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

LSI Industries Inc. expects to create 50 full-time positions, generating $1.4 million in new annual payroll and retaining $23.2 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s consolidation project in the City of Blue Ash. LSI Industries manufactures lighting, graphics, and menu board systems for gas stations, convenience stores, fast-food restaurants, car dealerships, and retail stores. The TCA approved a 0.883-percent, five-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
