A Jackson man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Beaver Pike near Bethel Ridge Road, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

55-year-old Michael C. Crabtree had been traveling eastbound on Beaver Pike at about 8:47pm when the motorcycle overturned, slid eastbound on Beaver Pike, and came to rest in the roadway.

Crabtree was transported by Jackson County EMS to Holzer Medical Center in Jackson, where he died from his injuries. He was wearing an approved helmet.
