The deciding of an SVC Baseball Championship will have to wait a few more days, thanks to rain that hit the area most of the day Friday.

Coming into the final conference game of the season, Westfall, Zane Trace and Unioto all shared first place at (10-3). But, the weather turned out to be the winner on Friday, putting a conference season finale on hold.

The Zane Trace at Westfall game, where the winner will do no worse than share the SVC crown, has been moved to Tuesday, May 7th. The Unioto at Adena game will be played May 6th. Unioto needs a victory against the Warriors to gain a co-championship with the winner of the ZT/Westfall game.

Due to the OHSAA moving baseball tournaments back one week, the three SVC leaders have several days to make up their games to determine the SVC Champ.
