Input Sought on Proposed Bridge Rehab on U.S. 35

The Ohio Department of Transportation's Environmental Office is seeking public input for a bridge rehabilitation on U.S. Route 35 in Ross County.

-

The proposed project is to rehabilitate the existing 96-inch corrugated metal pipe located just east of the C.R. 101 (Westfall Road) overpass by removing and replacing 40 feet of the pipe at the inlet and installing a new half-height headwall and paving the bottom with concrete.

-

The project will not require any new right of way, and no homes or businesses will be removed as a result of construction. Currently, a contract is anticipated to be awarded in the summer of 2020, and traffic will be maintained on the route throughout construction.

-

Additional information, including a complete description, maps and plans sheets, is available online at www.dot.state.oh.us/districts/D09/Pages/Public-Involvement-Process.aspx.
