2 Men Arrested on Drug Charges After Traffic Stop

Two men were arrested following a traffic stop in Pickaway County, Saturday.

According to Pickaway County Sheriff Robert B. Radcliff, at 12:55pm May 4th, a deputy and his K-9 partner stopped a vehicle on Huston Street near the intersection of U.S. Route 23 for a failing display an Ohio registration and for an improper lane change.

The deputy made contact with the unnamed female driver, and the 2 male passengers.The backseat male passenger, Samuel Griffith, was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The deputy secured Griffith in his cruiser for the warrant as a backup officer arrived to assist.

The male front passenger, 26-year-old Raheem Willoughby of Lockbourne, Ohio, was found to have over 60 grams, or 2 ounces of suspected methamphetamine on his person, that was discovered during a pat down. Willoughby was placed under arrest. Upon search of the vehicle, some additional drug paraphernalia was located inside the vehicle as well as some US currency Willoughby had left on the seat where he was sitting.

Willoughby is charged with Aggravated Trafficking, (F-1), Possession of Schedule I (F-1).

Both Griffith and Willoughby were later transported to the Pickaway County Jail.
