EMS Called to Chillicothe Alvis House Following Reported Illness

Emergency Medical Services were called to the Chillicothe Alvis House, along State Route 104, in regard to two reported illnesses, Friday

Alvis' Director of Communications, Gloria Iannucci, said Friday afternoon that an Alvis House employee and a house resident had reported feeling ill after returning from an appointment, at about 12:30 p.m. She said both subjects were checked out by emergency medical services and after a short while appeared to be fine.

The facility was temporarily evacuated as a precaution.

It's unclear at this time what caused the reported illnesses.
