The Department of Energy is hosting "Environmental Cleanup" open houses concerning the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant.

The community sessions will feature displays and information on demolition, waste disposal, and preparations for redevelopment at the site...from 2 to 7 pm each day.

The first is Jackson's open house, Tuesday [May 14th] at the Jackson County Extension Office. The next is in Portsmouth Thursday [May 16th].

Waverly's will be Tuesday, May 21st, in the Pike County YMCA at 400 Pride Drive.

The last is Chillicothe's open house, Thursday, May 23rd, at the Christopher Conference Center at 20 North Plaza Boulevard.
