Can You Be Sure It's the Right Website?

A recent Harris poll found that more than 70-percent of respondents couldn't spot a secure URL.

Google domain security expert Stephanie Duchesneau says there's one main thing you should do to stay secure on the web: read the URL and make sure it's the right one.

Duchesneau says encription, similar to sending information in an envelope rather than a postcard, is important.

She also says you should make any Web site you create secure.

She suggests installing an SSL certificate for free through LessEncrypt or your domain registrar, or arranging security through Google using Dot App or Dot Page.
