A newspaper series is shining the spotlight on the opioid crisis in Ohio.

-

The Washington Post has compiled statistics from the Centers for Disease Control that shows 5 out of the top 10 counties for opioid death rates across the U.S. are in Ohio.

-

Montgomery County is third on the list, followed by Clark County at 6th. Fayette County comes in at number seven, Butler County ninth, and Hamilton County is tenth.

-

The series written by six reporters claims the Obama Administration missed the early warning signs of the crisis, and the Trump Administration hasn't done enough to reverse the trend.
