A two-vehicle crash along State Route 32 in Pike County has claimed the life of a Waverly man.

The Chillicothe Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that crash took place shortly before 7:30 a.m. Friday at the intersection of State Route 32 and Beaver Pike.

The Patrol says David Carter, 43, of Waverly was killed when his 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan was stuck by a westbound semi truck, as Carter was attempting a U-turn from westbound Route 32 to eastbound 32, after having turned west on the 32 from Beaver Pike.
