WESTFALL 6, ROCK HILL 5 (8 INNINGS)

Rock Hill got out of the gate quickly with single runs in the first and third innings to go up 2-0 over the Mustangs. Westfall, who has a team batting average of .326, were held without a hit by the Redmen's Logan Hankins through the first two innings.

.

.

After holding Rock Hill scoreless in the top of the 8th, Westfall strung together back-to-back one-out singles and a walk to load the bases. With Rock Hill's infield playing in to cut the potential winning run off at the plate, Jay Wyman's ground ball to second saw the throw home go wide, allowing Jayden Hammond to score the winning run for a 6-5 victory.

.

Brayton Felger went 2/3 with a sacrifice fly to tie the game 5-5. Jayden Hammond also had two hits, as Westfall scattered seven hits through the game.

.

Eric Corzatt was credited with the pitching win, coming on in relief of Lucas Blackburn, who worked the first 7 innings. Logan Hankins pitched well in suffering the loss, but did not get much support as the Redmen committed 6 errors in the game.

.

.
