24/7 News Source (Atlanta, GA) -- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are linking an outbreak of E. coli that has sickened 17 people in eight states to flour sold at Aldi stores. The CDC said in a statement Friday that the outbreak is linked to flour packaged by Buffalo, New York's ADM Milling Company.

Aldi announced this week its recall of five-pound bags of Baker's Corner All Purpose Flour sold at Aldi stores in 11 states.

The flour was distributed to stores in Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and West Virginia.
