One man is dead after he rolled a stolen car Sunday on Rickenbacker Parkway West in Columbus.
The Columbus Dispatch reports a dispatcher said there is “no indication” the car was being pursued.
Police say it rolled several times on a curve. The driver wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was ejected and trapped under the car, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car was reported stolen to the Ashville police at noon, the Pickaway County sheriff’s office said. That was about 20 minutes before the fatal crash occurred.
Investigators have not released the name.
