The OHSAA State Track & Field Championships got underway with running prelims and some field event finals on Friday. The top eight finishers in the finals, score points and are considered All Ohio.

Waverly's Cody Remington placed second in the Boys Division 2 Long Jump at 22 feet- 8.5 inches.
Southeastern's Lane Ruby has placed second in the Boys Division 3 Long Jump at 23 feet- 2.5 inches.
In the Boys Division 2 Pole Vault, Wyatt Cory of Miami Trace finished 7th at a height of 14 feet- 2 inches.
