Chillicothe's Fire Hydrant Flushing continues this week. Hydrant flushing continues this week south of Main Street, from High Street to Renick Avenue.

On Tuesday, June 11th flushing will then commence from the Bridge Street Bridge to Clayburne Heights.

The flushing takes place daily from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Once the flushing is complete, water may appear cloudy or discolored. It's recommended that residents run their taps until the water turns clear. A boil advisory is not anticipated.

Residents are also advised to refrain from doing laundry while the flushing is taking place.
