The Pickaway County Fair opens Sunday with many changes to the fairgrounds.

Seven new fairgrounds buildings and an outdoor amphitheater will be unveiled after a major reconstruction project in the past year. One of the big changes is a new indoor show arena, replacing the old coliseum that hadn’t been updated since 1945.

Opening ceremonies on Sunday are planned for 6:30 p.m.
